If a site you use is not supported yet, say so. That is how the list grows, and it is the single most useful thing you can send me.

It is not working on a site

First, check the switches. Run on doomscroll covers Shorts, Reels, TikTok and clips; Run in home feeds covers Instagram, Facebook, X and Reddit timelines; Fullscreen only turns the effect off everywhere except fullscreen. Any of the three can explain a page that looks untouched.

In a feed, the effect waits until you stop scrolling before it lights anything. That is deliberate — it keeps the page from dragging while you scroll.

It does not work on Netflix, Disney+ or Prime Video

Correct, and it never will. Those services use DRM, and the browser deliberately walls the picture off from every extension — not just this one. Nothing can read a single pixel of it. Dim the page still works there, because dimming needs no access to the picture.

Licence keys

A key is tied to your purchase, not to a device. Paste it on as many of your own machines as you like. It is checked once, then stored locally and works offline from then on.

Lost it? It is in your Gumroad receipt email. If you cannot find that, email me from the address you bought with and I will look it up.

To go back to the free version on a machine — to see what a new user sees, or before selling a computer — open the gear and use Remove under Licence. Your key stays valid; paste it back any time.

Performance

The extension samples the video a limited number of times a second rather than every frame, stops entirely while you scroll, and drops its rate further on battery when Battery saver is on. If a page still feels heavy, turn off Page glow first — it is the most expensive of the three effects — and tell me what you are running on.
